Nice website man, picked up a few nuggets here…just can’t wait for Cataclysm, I found a rumor that it’s going to be released November 2010, however with Blizzard you never know :/

Great points there. I would like to add that Blizzard themselves have started to create mini guides for beginners. You will learn the basics such as what a macro is and how to set them up plus good getting started skills for combat, professions, leveling etc. The info is very good and it’s located on worldofwarcraft.com (Their own website) Just click on getting started on the menu and you’re spot on..
