Zaricotl
I was in the Badlands not too long ago trying to do some quests to level a little bit past 40. I was pretty happily killing wolves, buzzards, elementals, cats and the like. Then I saw this:
Yow! A ?? rare spawn in the middle of the Badlands? He’s gotta be at least 15 levels above the average player in that area. (EDIT: Wowhead says level 55 so that’s about right). I bet he’s ganked quite a few unsuspecting players, ha ha! I certainly wasn’t foolish enough to try and kill him.
Unfortunately, he seems to have a very large aggro range…

Zaricotl seems much calmer now that it has eaten the remains of Adrenis. Apparently after killing someone, Zaricotl turns non-aggressive for a time and won’t attack players unless they attack him first. So, anyone who came along after I died, you’re welcome for me saving your life.
Location was 35,65.
