Dr. Witherlimb
Dr. Witherlimb is an Undead (of the Scourge variety) found in the Ghostlands.
I found him for the first time on Adrenis, back when I was leveling up in that area, and then went back to try and find him on my Tauren warrior, Beaumont. Witherlimb is around so frequently that I almost hesitate to call him a rare spawn. He can spawn in either of the Ziggurats in the Ghostlands (Bleeding and Howling). The first time that I came across him, I killed him in the Bleeding Zig, then ran over to the Howling Zig (as part of my quest) and by the time I got to it he had already respawned there!
He’s a tough fight for the levels that will find him in the Ghostlands. He’s got a disease debuff he casts that shrinks you (which is why I’m a mini-Tauren below) and lowers your strength and stamina by 5 and he also shoots a nasty poison bolt at you. And if that weren’t enough, he drinks a restorative potion at about 30% health that makes him grow larger (plus an increase to attack power?) and restores nearly all of his health. I’d bring a couple of health potions if you’re planning on running into him.
And the loot???
I’ve also gotten a [Banshee Rod] and a [Ghoul Hammer] from him on other occasions. The locations for the two Ziggurats are around 35,48 and 40,46.
