Rare Spawn Mega Post
I haven’t posted any rare spawns lately, but I’ve run into so many of them in the past few weeks I’ll never catch up doing one per post. So I’m gonna do a couple of rare spawn mega posts to clean out the queue. First up:
Anathemus
Not too long after I abused Zaricotl’s beak with various parts of my body, I headed a bit further south in the Badlands and came across Anathemus. Unfortunately, a nearby wolf decided to jump in and the two of them proved to be too much for even me.
After I rezzed, I chased him down again to try and even the score. Two fear resists later the score was Anathemus 2, Random Wolf 1, Me 0.
Timber
It’s amazingly difficult to type that name and not spell it Timberrrrrrrrrrrr. Anyway, Timber is a wolf that I ran into one night when Egwene and Damer were questing in Dun Morogh. He has two wolf bodyguards that follow him around. Also, he ganks people.
So if you’re scoring at home, that makes it Wolves 2, Me 0. Here’s a little better look at him. He’s the one in the middle facing left.
Gibblewilt
Shortly after seeing to Timber, we went down closer to Gnomeregan and ran into Gibblewilt, a leper Gnome. Between the two of us he went down pretty quick. Yes! Rare spawns 3, Me 1.
Jalinde Summerdrake
Jalinde Summerdrake is the leader of the High Elves at the Quel’Danil Lodge in the Hinterlands. She’s friendly to Alliance and hostile to Horde. Fine! If she doesn’t want to be my friend, I don’t need her.
I got this from her. Also, Woot! Them 3, Me 2.
Then I ran into her again later and got this. (Them 3, Me 3 haha!)
The Reak
I quested a good bit in the Hinterlands in my late 40s and early 50s. When I got the quest A Sticky Situation, I was intrigued by the mention of a “master ooze”. After trekking around Skulk Rock for a long time and not finding anything, I finally discovered The Reak a little further south.
He went down pretty easily and he also brought the score to Them 3, Me 4! Yes! I am victorious! (Sometimes, anyway.)
