The latest patch is 2.2.2, which was released on Oct 2, 07. Patch 2.0 was released back in Jan 07, just before the Burning Crusade came out. 2.0 had so many changes to the game client that nearly every addon out there had to be updated and recoded to work correctly. Since 2.0, the patches have not been as big and so most addons have continued to work correctly without being updated.
