@Simas: Do you mean that those ravagers are not tamable? If so, that's incorrect. The orange ravager I have tamed in my screenshots is one of the level 10 to 12 ones.

Hrm, speaking of ravagers, I have heard (via the marvellous, marvellous Petipia site) that the Rip-blade Ravager (lvl 63, B.E.M) changes to a different colour everytime you summon him. Anyone tried this?

And btw my hunter class lead has a ravager pet. Named Orgasmatron. *gigglegiggle*

Thanks!

I actually did it. Took me around an hour to run to Auberdine, but the pet is worth it.

I ran the whole way in spirit form, then spirit rezzed near the Blood Watch.

Oh, and a quick aside. Getting a red lynx as an Alliance really pissed the Hoardies off. They like to think that pet is "exclusive" to the hoarde side. Even running around with my lynx got me lots of rude gestures from passing hoardies. So it's useful for tweaking people off (And as I don't PvP, I just waved when they /rude me. ;) )

Thanks. Now for the tough one. Getting the low level hoardie a pet OWL!! The only place they spawn before the late 40's is in Night Elf starting territory... and the only way I can figure out how to get there is to literally run through Darnassus.

Not that the bird types are all that great before Screech. I picked up a vulture with my hunter to try out screech (I still gotta name him. I was gonna name him Hitchcock, but those last 4 letters means the name was blocked by Blizz) and holy hell is it effective! I'll be upgrading to an owl as soon as I can, but shut off all other attacks, leave screech & Growl on, and you'll be hard pressed to pull aggro from your pet.

That's a great guide, Polecat. I haven't had a lowbie Ally Hunter in quite some time, but having a red or orange lynx would definitely set you apart from the other Hunters you come across.

As far as the graveyards and rezzing go, there are a couple of ways to go about rezzing at the graveyard of your choice. Essentially, anytime you change game servers, you will rez at your current graveyard, rather than being ported back to the one where you died. So hopping on the boat or zep to the other continent will work, or as you mentioned, heading through the portal to the Ghostlands.

I have also heard that logging in and out will let you rez at the current GY as well, in case you don't have time/can't get to the other continent.
