WoW Them With Gifts This Christmas

Sorry, I couldn’t resist that title :)

Since Christmas is just three weeks away(!) and many of us are bound to want WoW and other video game related gifts, I thought I’d help you come up with some gift ideas so you know what to ask for.

World of Warcraft Gifts

First up we have the recently released World of Warcraft Battlechest. It includes the complete versions of World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, and the official strategy guides for both.

If you want to buy any of those à la carte, then here is the original World of Warcraft, World Of Warcraft Expansion: Burning Crusade, the World of Warcraft Master Guide , and World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Official Strategy Guide .

Speaking of Strategy guides, there are a few more out there. There’s the World of Warcraft Dungeon Companion, which covers the original dungeons, the World of WarCraft Dungeon Companion, Volume 2, which covers the Burning Crusade dungeons and the World of Warcraft Strategy Collection, which has the original Strategy Guide, an Atlas of Azeroth, and the Dungeon Companion. I haven’t used any of the strategy guides myself, but I have heard very good things about them.

If you’ve ever found yourself turning your volume up to hear more of the music in the background, you might be interested in the World of Warcraft Soundtrack and the World of Warcraft Burning Crusade CD Soundtrack

If you’re buying a gift for a gamer who’s already playing WoW, then a World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre-Paid Time Card is always a welcome gift.

And lastly, to round out the WoW gifts, you can play the original RTS Warcraft games to see where the series started. There’s the original game - Warcraft: Orcs & Humans , the sequel - WarCraft 2 , and the third game in the series - Warcraft III. (That last one is the battle chest version which includes Warcraft III and all of the expansions.)

And here are a couple of other cool gifts that I’ve had my eye on.

Kindle - First up we have the just released Kindle, a new wireless reading device. This thing looks pretty cool. It’s an e-book type thing that allows you to buy books, newspapers, and magazines and have them delivered to you automatically (via the built-in wireless connection).

You can also use it to read more than 250 of the most popular blogs on the Internet (for some reason, DrainingSouls.net is not yet included in the list. I’m sure it was just an oversight on their part), email, and it includes free access to Wikipedia. Best of all, the wireless connection is not Wi-Fi so you don’t have to find a hotspot for it to work.

iPods - It’s possible that I’m the only person on the planet that doesn’t have an iPod yet, but I figured I put this link in just in case one of you is wanting one as well. I got Egwene the 1 GB iPod Shuffle last year, and that little thing is awesome.

Support this site: If you use any of the links I’ve provided to go to Amazon and make a purchase, then I’ll receive a small commission (and it doesn’t cost you any extra). You can even use a link I provided and purchase some other item. If you’ve found my site helpful over the past 6 months, then that’s a great way to show your support!
