You are correct, I was working the rebel camp sending me into Kurzen's camp. Those guys are complete.... er, yeah, you get the idea. Especially as a Pally there. While one of my seals/judgements prevents runners, they spawned close enough together that I'd get ganged up on... and those healers... ugh.

Interesting to note, I got there from Thousand Needles, specifically the race track. After you do a few collection missions there (Which got me a level, maybe two, I don't remember. I really had fun there ^_^) they quickly send you to Booty bay and STV. Unfortunately the missions started VERY quickly flagging red, thus how I ended up in the rebel camp, looking for some local quests to help bump me up before tackling those others...

PS - Glad you're liking those movies I sent. I haven't been searching as much lately, but I need to start hunting for more. ^_^

Were you trying to do the quests from the rebel camp, Polecat? Some of those (where you go to Kurzen's camp) can be incredibly frustrating, especially if you're doing them solo. Try grabbing some quests from the hunter's camp and Booty Bay and work on them for a bit, and you might find that you're starting to like STV.

I was interested to see what you'd say here, as my Alliance Pally is sitting in her lower 30s... unfortunately I do have to disagree about Stranglethorn Vale. I tried my hand there with some of the early quests and had the single WORST leveling experience I have had the entire game!! I will be looking into some of the others tho, but I can't recommend against STV any more strongly...

The last two levels of each tier (38 to 40, 48 to 50, etc.) have always been the hardest to get done. The last patch (2.3) lowered the amount of XP needed to level, so things are definitely easier than they used to be, but it can still be difficult to get over that last hump.

Off the top of my head, the Hinterlands and Searing Gorge are good places to hit 50, and the Un'Goro Crater is a good place to get started in your 50s. There's enough there to keep you busy till I get to the Ally 50s post =)

I'll be looking forward to your Alliance 50-60 post. I seem to have been stuck in the late 40's/early 50's forever. Partly my own fault (I keep deciding to go run guild members through low level instances) but partly just confusion as to where I should be. (I lost the thread a bit after I quit for a few months)
