AmunNaal, My main problem with the Ghost Wolf change was that there was no reason to do it. Hunter pets such as Lupos, that had functional differences, are one story. (I don't like that Blizzard nerfed them, but I can at least see why they did it.)

The Ghost Wolf, on the other hand, had no functional difference. It was simply a different skin than the other wolves in the game. That's why Blizzard's decision to remove it seemed so arbitrary and pointless.

One other thing I want to say: Hunters got some serious love in the last patch. If you haven't played for 6 months, you might check things out. Hunters are much more powerful then they were a few months ago.

What exactly do you expect?

Every single unique hunter pet in the game up to this point has been nerfed or removed. Humar, Lupos, and now this. The list goes on, obviously, but its a simple point. When I quit playing WoW about 6 months ago, I left behind a 70 hunter. Blizzard had, and still has, no intention of making any hunter pets unique, or fun. Simple truth.

Theres a reason I left WoW after playing for 2+ years. Hunters were neglected the entire time, and apparently continue to be so.

Sigh, if you read the article, I think you'll understand why we were surprised. There's no need for me to rehash that here. But don't worry, I've stopped moaning about it ;)

Dont know why you seem so surprised by this action. bLizzard are always making changes It even says in the blog why current players get to keep them

"those that have already tamed them should be allowed to keep them due to their efforts in obtaining one."

Every class has something they dont like stop moaning about something as trivial as every one has the same pet, every player pretty much looks identical now anyways due to glad gear.

Yea Blizz finally did themselves in with the Ghost wolf great thinking went into bringing in a pet that look awesome. Now hunters have to resort back to the s***** looking ravagers that everyone in game already has LOL WAY TO GO THERE BLIZZ
