Haha… sometimes it really pays to read the upcoming patch notes 
According to the current version of the PTR patch notes, several items are going to upgraded in quality in 2.4, similar to how many other items were in 2.3. One of those items planned for an upgrade are the Bloody Brass Knuckles, a rather low quality fist weapon. The current PTR has the new version as this:
Now here’s where the awesomeness starts. When 2.4 is released, the BBK will be upgraded automatically, regardless of when you get them. In other words, if you get them now and hold them until 2.4 is released, you’ll still get the upgraded version. (I know because I had the old green version of Smite’s Reaver on Damer before 2.3 went live. When it did, I got the upgraded version.) Additionally, The BBK are not currently BoP (in fact, they’re not even BoE).
So here’s what you can do. Head to SM, and farm Interrogator Vishas until the BBK drop. He’s super easy - anyone level 40 and up can kill him solo, I would think, depending maybe on class and spec. You only have to kill about 4 or 5 mobs to get to him and 2 of them aren’t even elite. So farm Vishas until you have all of the BBK that you could ever need (get a few - they’re not unique or main/off hand only). Then you can send them to your alt of choice, and in a few weeks they’ll have an awesome Blue weapon!
(Just make sure to mail them before 2.4 hits. They will be BoP then and it would really suck to have 5 pairs of them stuck on your main.)
