WotLK Opening Cinematic
Blizzard just released the opening cinematic for WotLK, and I have to say it’s pretty wicked.

I usually measure cinematics like this in terms of “chill moments”, and there were three in here for me. First was when Arthas’ eyes lit up and began to glow blue. Second was when the Frost Wyrm climbed up on the precipice and you saw just how huge it really was. And third was when you saw his armies stretched out for miles, and they all began to yell and scream as the dragon passed over them. Pretty awesome stuff there!
It lacked the iconic catchphrase that the BC trailer had (You Are Not Prepared!), but I did enjoy the irony of Terenas saying, “When my days are done, you will be king.” Overall, very good.
