Back On The Wagon
Ahh, a nice blogging vacation. Just like a real vacation, it can serve to refresh and renew.
Anyway, I’m back now, ready to start writing again, and I would like to get some input from my readers as to what kinds of things you would like me to write about. I usually write about the things that I’m experiencing in the game: when I was leveling my Warlock after my first WoW break, I wrote my Newbie’s Guide. When I started raiding, I wrote about that. When I started playing my Warrior again, I wrote about him.
I don’t intend to stop writing about the things that I’m experiencing, but I’d like some feedback as to what direction you’d like to see my blog go in. There are a lot of other WoW blogs out there that are more or less directed at a certain class. Warrior blogs, Hunter blogs, etc. Although that serves very well to direct the focus of the blog, I play too many classes to write about just one. A few people out there have pegged me as a Warlock blog, but I don’t really think of my blog like that. And looking forward to WotLK, I’m not really excited about playing a Warlock at all, and am planning on switching to a Paladin main.
One thought that I’ve had is to focus my writing on 10-man raiding, which will almost certainly be my main playtime focus in WotLK. I could write about the raids that my guild is working on, discuss boss strategies, talk about the trials and tribulations of raiding casually, and maybe even focus on some class-specific discussion.
But tell me what you would like to see here. I know that some of you read my blog because you’re bored at work, so let me know what I can do to keep you entertained.
(Oh yes, I’m back in WoW now as well. Not as much as before yet, but there have been some Adrenis and McGraken sightings. If you haven’t seen me yet, chances are good you will soon.)

One potential for a future (a good ways in the future likely) is to add a DeathKnight starter’s guide of some sort. Updating the newbie guides for the changes that came to some classes may be necessary (tho minor). A starter’s zone guide to Northrend (once you have some experience there) might be handy for newer players…. Hell, might suggest doing that for OUTLAND too, for those who came after us…
Just some random thoughts off the top of my head for ya.

Writing about your experience in wolk would be sweet. Tips, tricks or anything you notice about the new instances would be useful to ppl i think. It would also be nice to read about your guild progression so some of us GMs have something to compare our guild to.
Anyways keep up the good work, this is one of my fav blogs.
I know what you mean about having a break from blogging – every few months I find I need to take a break myself, although my break this week has kind of been more enforced and not a total break as I’ve been sorting out the upgrading my hosting, but it gave me a break from some of it.
I think any guides that you feel like creating around WotLK would be much appreciated, particularly the raids as that’s not something I do a lot of with my guild.

Y’know, as a caveat to what I said earlier, I’d love to see your thoughts on proffessions as it relates to Death Knights now. I’m having the damndest time coming up with one I want to go back to the early zones just to level up… or one that would be useful enough to warrant doing that.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I’m definitely leaning towards focusing on 10-man raiding. I’ll also probably do a few posts on Dks as well, just because they’re new and awesome.
